EXPULSION CASE NO. 08-002
Description
On May 3, 2007, the student listed in Expulsion Case No. 08-002, violated School Board Policy 5.32, Zero Tolerance - Battery on School Board Employee. It is the recommendation of the Superintendent that the student be expelled from the Sarasota County Schools until May 30, 2009.
Recommendation
That in accordance with provisions of Sections 1006.07(1)(a)(b), Florida Statutes and School Board Policy 5.34, the holding of a hearing having been waived by the student/parent the recommendation as specified in Expulsion Case 08-002, to expel the student referenced therein from the Sarasota County Schools be approved effective immediately for the remainder of the 2007-2008 academic year, the 2008 summer session and the entire 2008-2009 academic year.
